PURPOSE: A ticket authentication method using a personal portable terminal and a system thereof are provided to enable a user to directly request ticket authentication to a server by using the personal portable terminal, thereby saving a load and a time of a network. CONSTITUTION: A user(100) accesses to an authentication server(200) by using a personal portable terminal. The authentication server receives ticket authentication information from the user. The ticket authentication information and ticket issue information corresponding to the ticket authentication information are compared. Validity is authenticated through comparison.
