PURPOSE: A two staged transmission unit for an electric car is provided to reduce size and capacity of a component by forming a gear ratio in comparison with a one staged reduction gear into a two-stage. CONSTITUTION: A one staged gear(442) and a two staged gear(444) are connected to a one staged input shaft and a two staged input shaft, respectively. A one staged clutch and a two staged clutch are formed in the one staged input shaft and the two staged input shaft. The one staged clutch and the two staged clutch independently control the one staged input shaft and the two staged input shaft. An output shaft(447) is connected to the one staged input shaft and the two staged input shaft and receives driving force.
