STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ROAD USING GEOGRID

PURPOSE: A construction structure of a sidewalk block using a geogrid and a construction method of a sidewalk block using the same are provided to prevent the subsidence of sidewalk blocks by improving soil bearing capacity. CONSTITUTION: A construction structure of a sidewalk block using a geogrid comprises a ground layer(10), a sub base layer(20), a geogrid(100), a sand layer(30), sidewalk blocks(40), and boundary blocks(50). The sub base layer is formed on the ground layer. The geogrid is installed on the top of the sub base layer in a mesh shape and has wedge-shaped protrusions. The empty spaces of the geogrid are filled with the sand layer. The sidewalk blocks are installed on the top of the sand layer. The boundary blocks are installed on the edges of a sidewalk.
