And the operating units use the input button of a touch screen, switch, and other button. Photo sensors(d2, c8) sense whether an object passes through the metal detector or not, count the number of passage of the device under test, and check whether a specimen is inputted or not. A metal detecting unit(d3, c5) determines whether a metal foreign matter exists within sensing area or not by using the detection principle of the metal detector. data display units(d4, d9, c4) indicate whether the metal detector has detected or not, setup information, and recorded information to the user.
