Disclosed are agricultural compositions comprising: a sulfonated estolide compound of Formula (I), at least one pesticide, and at least one solvent. Also disclosed are methods for the preparation of compounds of formula (I) from fatty acids. Compounds of formula (I) are also useful in hard-surface cleaning compositions, personal care compositions, and antimicrobial compositions.
