Producing chlorine by electro-chlorination using electrodes immersed in a solution containing salts of chlorine, such as sea water, is claimed, where the electrodes are supplied by photovoltaic power generation, and the photovoltaic power generation controls the process for producing chlorine by using control means supplied with power from the power generation. An independent claim is included for an installation for implementing the method, comprising a container (3) of saline solution, for producing electricity from photovoltaic cell panel (1), electrodes connected to the power generation, for controlling the operation of the installation comprising means for measuring, calculating and control, where the control means are fed by production of photovoltaic electricity. |
