PURPOSE: A polygonal wave dissipating block and a construction method of a breakwater using the same are provided to improve stability and wave dissipation effects by improving cohesion between the blocks. CONSTITUTION: A polygonal wave dissipating block(100) comprises a connection column(110), hemispheric upper and lower connectors, upper support legs(120), lower support legs(130), and protrusions(140). The hemispheric upper connectors are protruded from the top end of the connection column, and the hemispheric lower connectors are protruded from the bottom end of the connection column. The upper support legs are protruded from the top ends of the hemispheric upper connectors to be inclined. The lower support legs are protruded from the bottom ends of the hemispheric lower connectors to be inclined. The protrusions are formed on the ends of the upper and lower support legs and have a larger diameter than the upper and lower support legs. |
