Disclosed is an immunogenic composition comprising one or more Streptococcus uberis sortase-anchored proteins, or an immunogenic part thereof, wherein the composition is capable of eliciting an immune response, when administered to a subject. Further disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising one or more Streptococcus uberis sortase-anchored proteins, or part thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient, the use of said proteins in the preparation of a medicament for eliciting an immune response in a human or non-human animals, and a method for protecting a non-human animal from the effects of infection by Streptococcus uberis comprising administering said composition.
