<p>A latching device is provided with: a first link (20) rotatably supported by a base member (10) and rotated and operated by a traction member (for example, wire (70)); a second link (30) rotatably supported by the base member (10); a latch (40) having a hook-shaped part (43) for engaging with a rod-shaped part (91); and a transmitting mechanism (operating lever (50)) for transmitting the rotational operation of the second link (30) to the rotational operation of the latch (40). The first link (20) has a first operating surface (24A) and a second operating surface (25). Traction from the traction member (70) causes the first operating surface (24A) to push on a contact surface (33A) and the second link (30) to rotate, and during traction from the traction member (70), the surface of the first link (20) in contact with the second link (30) switches from the first operating surface (24A) to the second operating surface (25).</p> |
