PURPOSE: A national control point measuring device using the acquisition of image information in a geodetic survey is provided to recognize a relation between a rod staff and a collimation line by mounting an image acquisition device, a data processing device and a memory in a level, to save image information and attribute data in the memory by using the data processing device, and to improve the objectivity of observation data. CONSTITUTION: A national control point measuring device using the acquisition of image information in a geodetic survey comprises an objective lens, a focusing lens, an automatic leveling device, a collimation line device, and an image processing device. The image processing device comprises an auto-focusing control member. The auto-focusing control member comprises a focusing control unit, a CCD camera(670), an image processing unit(660), a focus motor(620), a zoom motor(630), a MTF(Modulation Transfer Function) calculating unit(640), a focus error detecting unit(650), and a focus initialization button(680). The CCD camera photographs a subject. The image processing unit converts analog signals photographed by the CCD camera into digital signals, thereby transmitting the digital signals to the focusing control unit. The focusing control unit performs a focusing by zooming in/out the lenses when photographing the subject. The MTF calculating unit provides MTF values of each lens, thereby helping the focusing of the zoom motor and focus motor. The focus error detecting unit checks focusing errors with the MTF values of each lens calculated by the MTF calculating unit.
