<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that adjusts the charge amount of toner without changing toner density much, prevents problems such as scattering of toner, scumming, or density unevenness due to change in toner density, and contributes to high image quality and uniform image quality. <P>SOLUTION: As illustrated in Fig.9(c), as a magnet roller 201a is rotated in a reverse direction (upstream side) relative to a rotation direction of a developing roller, magnetic force at a pumping position is increased and stirring intensity is increased. Accordingly, the charge amount of toner can be increased. In contrast to the above, as illustrated in Fig.9(d), as the magnet roller is rotated in the downstream side, stirring intensity is decreased, and thereby the charge amount of toner can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
