<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a regenerated elastic roller that can be reused as various kinds of elastic rollers in an image forming apparatus using an electrophotographic process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a regenerated elastic roller includes a step of removing a sticking substance derived from a developer, the substance firmly sticking to the surface of an elastic roller for electrophotography. The step includes a blasting step of removing the sticking substance by allowing a powder material to collide with the elastic layer where the sticking substance is firmly sticking. The powder material contains urethane rubber particles and at least one kind of inorganic particles selected from the group consisting of silica, alumina and titania, adhering to the circumferential surfaces of the urethane rubber particles. The blasting step includes an embedding step of embedding the inorganic particles in the sticking substance by the impact force upon collision of the powder material with the sticking substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
