<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give notice detecting a situation where a user carrying a communication terminal cannot pick himself up from a fall or an overturn. <P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal according to the invention comprises: movement amount detection means for detecting a movement amount in a vertical direction of the communication terminal; communication means for notifying a notification destination; and notification control means for controlling the communication means.
