<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the image data read from an original from being wrongly printed when a telephone number of destination is wrongly inputted. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a first operation key for inputting numerals 0-9 that are transmitted as a tone signal to a telephone line, a second operation key for inputting a line non-transmission code that is not transmitted to the telephone line, a mode selection part which selects a FAX transmission mode or a copy mode, a third operation key for starting reading of the original, a FAX transmission process part which, based on the operation of the third operation key after the first operation key and the second operation key are operated, starts reading of the original and transmits by FAX the image data, a copy process part which, based on the operation of the third operation key after the first operation key is operated, starts reading of the original and prints the image data, and a user reporting part which, based on the operation of the second operation key in the copy mode, executes a reporting process which promotes a user to confirm a mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
