<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of toner by using an emulsification polymerization method, in which a colorant pigment is efficiently and stably incorporated into toner particles. <P>SOLUTION: The production method includes: (A) a polymerization step for preparing a dispersion liquid of polymer primary particles; (B) an aggregation step for preparing a dispersion liquid of secondary particles; and (C) an adhesion step for adding and mixing a dispersion liquid of fine particles of a resin having a high softening point different from and relatively higher than that of the polymer primary particles to prepare a dispersion liquid of adhered particles comprising the secondary particles with the fine resin particles adhering thereto. In the production method, a colorant pigment is introduced into the toner particles by adding and mixing a dispersion liquid of the colorant pigment, which is preliminarily coated with an acrylate resin, in one of the above steps (A), (B) and (C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
