<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device, even when passing a thin paper of recording material, capable of reducing curl while improving a separation property of the recording material. <P>SOLUTION: A projection member has, in at least longitudinal three parts, a first width that is wider than a predetermined width and, in at least two parts therebetween, a second width which is narrower than the predetermined width. The first width is set such that an elastic pressure member does not intrude in a flexible member side with respect to a nip flat surface, while the second width is set such that the elastic pressure member intrudes in the flexible member side with respect to the nip flat surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
