<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect a marking line on a traveling lane to a far distance with a low-cost device without advanced calculation processing capability. <P>SOLUTION: An area resolution setting part 16 sets a first image processing area which is in front of a moving body and in the vicinity of it in an image imaged by an outside imaging part 11. If the speed of the moving body indicated by speed information of the moving body acquired by a moving body motion information acquiring part 14 is equal to or above a predetermined value, sets at least one second image processing area of which position gradually becomes more distant from the first image processing area as the speed of the moving body gets faster while its size gradually becomes smaller than the first image processing area as the speed of the moving body gets faster, and detects a marking line from the image processing area set by the area resolution setting part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
