摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion heat quantity measurement method for gas that can measure the quantity of heat of gas to be measured with high reliability even if the gas to be measured is prepared by mixing air with paraffinic hydrocarbon gas at an unknown rate, and a wobbe index measurement method that can measure the wobbe index of the gas to be measured with high reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The combustion heat quantity measurement method for gas is characterized by including: measuring the refractive index and oxygen concentration of the gas to be measured; finding the quantity of heat in terms of paraffinic hydrocarbon gas when the gas to be measured comprises only the paraffinic hydrocarbon gas from the obtained value of the refractive index on the basis of the correlation between the quantity of heat of the paraffinic hydrocarbon gas and the refractive index; finding the air percentage content of the gas to be measured corresponding to the oxygen concentration from the obtained value of the oxygen concentration; and finding the quantity of heat of the gas to be measured on the basis of the value of the quantity of heat in terms of the paraffinic hydrocarbon gas and the air percentage content of the gas to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
