A control device (2) for a main mixer unit of a concrete mixing plant is connected to a discharge gate of the main mixer unit of the concrete mixing plant and comprises an opening apparatus (21), a maintaining apparatus (22) and a closing apparatus (23). The control device (2) controls the discharge gate of the main mixer unit of the concrete mixing plant to open based on a preset opening process time. When the opening process time is over, the control device (2) controls the discharge gate to maintain an open state based on a preset opening maintaining time. After the opening maintaining time is over, the control device (2) controls the discharge gate to close. The present invention implements flexible control of the open degree of a discharge gate of a main mixer unit, and a control error due to the failure of an intermediate position sensor is avoided.
