<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a multi-band antenna for mobile terminal. The structure of the multi-band terminal comprises: a loop antenna portion which resonates at a low-band communication frequency so as to receive and transmit a low-band communication electromagnetic wave signal; and a monopole antenna portion which resonates at a high-band communication frequency so as to receive and transmit a high-band communication electromagnetic wave signal. The loop antenna portion is a loop with an open. The monopole antenna portion is situated in the loop and connected with the two ends of the open. Compared to the prior art, in the case that a handset is close to a head of human-being who is holding the handset, the present invention has low power-loss and high head-and-hand-radiation-efficiency, thereby improving the communication quality of the handset and increasing the life of the handset battery.</p>
