<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal cap adaptable to any of multiple kinds of tubular containers for clinical use and which can be easily attached and detached. <P>SOLUTION: The cap having a substantially truncated conical shape includes a circular rear end face 2, a side face 3 extending in a tapered shape from the rear end face, and a tip end face 4 having a flat or a dome shape connected to the side face. An annular flange 5 is formed in the outer peripheral edge of the rear end face. The side face includes a plurality of annular ribs 6 provided at a constant pitch in parallel to the annular flange. The cap is inserted in an opening of the tubular container for clinical use from the tip end face side. At least one of the plurality of annular ribs is engaged with an inner wall face of the tubular container for clinical use, so that the cap is fitted to the opening of the tubular container for clinical use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
