<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building that comprises a carriage porch space and can secure the privacy of residents. <P>SOLUTION: This house 10 is equipped with a carriage porch 36, and an entrance section 72 is designed so as not to be exposed to wind and rain. That is, an occupant does not get wet with rain when getting on/off a vehicle 26. And a penetrating part 28 can be used as is, for example, as a garage. Furthermore, the penetrating part 28 constituting the carriage porch 36 can be used as an outdoor play space for children when it is raining. On the other hand, a storage part 24 is provided at a position opposing an entrance door 32, and the storage part 24 is provided in parallel to a road 14.
