<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that has short output lines. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion device 3 for directly converting polyphase AC power to AC power includes: a conversion circuit having a plurality of first switching means 311, 313, 315 connected to respective phases R, S, T of the polyphase AC power and capable of two-way conduction switching, and a plurality of second switching means 312, 314, 316 connected to the respective phases and capable of two-way conduction switching; and output lines 331, 332 connected to the conversion circuit. The plurality of first switching means and the plurality of second switching means have respective output terminals arrayed in respective lines.
