<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating handover of a user device between a configuration element of a source base station in a first communication network of a first network type and a configuration element of a target base station in a second communication network of a second network type. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises determining an identifier for use to identify at least one target gateway configuration element connected to the configuration element of the target base station in the second communication network. Then, in the first communication network, a handover request message is generated. The handover request message incorporates an identifier for use to identify at least one target gateway configuration element. Next, the handover request message is transmitted to the second communication network.
