<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content display device capable of automatically displaying a page spread as such in displaying an electronic book. <P>SOLUTION: A process executed by a CPU of a content display device includes the steps of: determining, for each page, a color with the highest appearance frequency to be "background color" and correlating data representing the "background color" with the color (S340); and reducing two pages consisting of the next transiting page and the further next transiting page into a one-page size to display the reduced pages on a liquid crystal display device 120 (S370) if the "background color" of the two pages are infinitely close to the same color (Yes for S350) and if a color or colors other than the background color are distributed at center parts of the pages (Yes for S360). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
