<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a user who does not satisfy authentication requirements to know a general outline of an object to be printed. <P>SOLUTION: A printing system comprises: authenticating means for determining whether or not a user who executes a print request satisfies predetermined authentication requirements; print control data generating means for generating a print control datum that specifies an ink discharge amount for each recording pixel on a recording medium on the basis of a datum for an object to be printed specified by the print request; and printing means for causing ink to be discharged onto the recording medium on the basis of the print control datum. In a case where the user who executes the print request does not satisfy authentication requirements, the print control data generating means generates the print control datum that causes an amount of ink discharged onto the recording medium to be less than that in a case where the user who executes the print request satisfies the authentication requirements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
