PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a preview image according to its display mode.

SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a display unit that previews the image indicative of a printing result of the image; and a determining unit that determines the display mode of the preview image. The display unit displays the preview image including an woven pattern image when the determination unit determines that the preview image is displayed for each sheet, and displays the preview image excluding the woven pattern image when the determination unit displays the preview image in a bookbinding form.
