<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively correct an opening/closing proportion of the eyes of a subject person when the opening/closing proportion of the eyes of the subject person in taken image data is inappropriate. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a face detection part for detecting the face of a subject person in input image data; an eye opening/closing proportion determination part for determining an opening/closing proportion of the eyes of the subject person on the basis of a face image including the face detected by the face detection part in the image data; a storage part for storing eye opening/closing proportion information including the opening/closing proportion of the eyes of the subject person determined by the eye opening/closing proportion determination part; a comparison part for comparing the opening/closing proportion of the eyes of the subject person determined by the eye opening/closing proportion determination part with an eye opening/closing proportion obtained by multiplying the eye opening/closing proportion in the stored eye opening/closing proportion information by a specific correction allowable ratio; and a correction part for correcting the eye opening/closing proportion determined by the eye opening/closing proportion determination part according to a comparison result given by the comparison part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
