The present invention relates to a pillar for assembly type furniture. The pillar for assembly type furniture includes: a first pillar having a first top surface contacting a ceiling and a first bottom surface having an area less than that of the top surface; a second pillar having a second top surface having the same area as the first top surface and a second bottom surface having the same area as the first bottom surface, the second pillar having a first coupling hole in which the first pillar having the first bottom surface is inserted by a predetermined length in a length direction from the second top surface; a third pillar having a third top surface having the same area as the second top surface and a third bottom surface contacting the ground, the third pillar having a second coupling hole in which the second pillar having the second bottom surface is inserted by a predetermined length in a length direction from the third top surface; and an elastic member disposed in at least one coupling hole of the first coupling hole and the second coupling hole to apply a restoring force in a direction opposite to the direction in which the first or second pillar is inserted into the corresponding coupling hole. |
