METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRIGGERING OVER THE AIR SERVICE

Provided are a method and system for triggering an over the air (OTA) service. The method includes: an OTA system acquiring service request information which comes from a terminal via an unstructured supplementary service data (USSD) system (S102); the OTA system issuing configuration information according to the service request information (S104); and, after configuring successfully, the OTA system sending to the terminal prompt information indicating successful configuration via the USSD system (S106). The present invention can reduce the time delay, and improve the communication efficiency.
