<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cell storage housing which is easy to store a battery cell and can efficiently adjust the temperature of the battery cell; and a method which can simply manufacture the battery cell storage housing formed with a plurality of bottomed holes and through-holes. <P>SOLUTION: The width Wc of the bottomed hole 22 is made to be smaller than the thickness Wb of a battery cell 10, and the battery cell 10 is stored in the bottomed holes 22 with the deformation of the bottomed holes 22. In order to manufacture such a battery cell storage housing 20, a rectangular parallelepiped aluminum alloy slug formed with a plurality of through-holes in a row is disposed in a female mold. A punch of a male mold is pressed against a part of the slug in which the through-holes are not formed, and the part on which the punch of the male mold is pressed is recessed to form the bottomed holes 22 of the battery cell storage housing 20, and the part on which the punch of the male mold is not pressed is raised to form a wall surface of the battery cell storage housing 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
