<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film having a high-hardness surface having pencil hardness of 5H or more, and excellent in scratch resistance, abrasion resistance, flexibility and transparency, and especially, a hard coat film suitable for an optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The hard coat film includes a plastic film as a base material, and a hard coat layer laminated on at least one surface side of the plastic film.
