摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a stack by reducing the differential pressure between an anode and a cathode of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure-regulating valve 25 is provided on the output side of an anode 11b of a fuel cell 11. When the temperature is raised by supplying combustion gas output from a starting burner 24 to a cathode 11a of the fuel cell 11 at start-up of the fuel cell 11, the opening of the pressure-regulating valve 25 is regulated to reduce the differential pressure between the anode and the cathode. Thus the problem that the cell is broken by increased cathode pressure during operation of the starting burner 24 can be solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
