<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine causing no damage caused by a side brush which is caught on an attachment like a hitch member, and causing no unwashed part. <P>SOLUTION: The car washing machine includes a pair of right and left side face brushes 4L, 4R independently openable/closable respectively, performs brushing while opening/closing the side face brushes 4L, 4R along a vehicle body shape, and washes side faces and front and rear faces of a vehicle body. In the car washing machine, when brushing the rear face of the vehicle body by the side face brushes 4L, 4R, the side face brushes 4L, 4R are closed at a position CP' displaced from a center position CP in the width direction of the vehicle to the right or left by a predetermined distance, the side face brushes 4L, 4R are moved in the closed state in the same direction as the displaced closed position, then a car washing machine body 1 is made to retreat to separate the side face brushes 4L, 4R from the rear face of the vehicle body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
