<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device capable of preventing displacement and bite between a rack member and a lead screw. <P>SOLUTION: A lens drive device energizes a main teeth part 71 of a rack member 7 to a lead screw 8a by a first energization force F1, and energizes a facing teeth part 41 disposed to face the main teeth part across the lead screw 8a and displaceable to the teeth part, in a direction approaching the lead screw by a second energization force F2.
