<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of securing image quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, an upper duct 28 and a lower duct 27 are arranged so that an opening on a sheet conveyance passage side of the upper duct 28 and an opening on a sheet conveyance passage side of the lower duct 27 are opposed to each other across the sheet conveyance passage. Both sides of a sheet S are cooled by allowing air to flow in a direction perpendicular to a sheet conveyance direction along a first surface of the sheet S passing through the sheet conveyance passage by a first air blowing section 24A including the upper duct 28 and a first fan 29a and allowing air to flow in an opposite direction to the first air blowing section 24A in a direction perpendicular to the sheet conveyance direction along a second surface on an opposite side of the first surface of the sheet S passing through the sheet conveyance passage by a second air blowing section 24B including the lower duct 27 and a second fan 29b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
