<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk driving device which improves effectiveness of measures against electrostatic discharge and generates less sliding noise. <P>SOLUTION: A loading mechanism has a conductor 40 which comes into contact with a guide rail 7b when the loading mechanism moves toward and away from a chassis. A surface of the guide rail which comes in contact with the conductor has a first area and a second area. The first area includes an end surface which comes closer to the conductor than the second area. In a first state where the loading mechanism can attach and detach an optical disk, the conductor is in contact with the first area, and while the loading mechanism moves from a second state where the loading mechanism is housed in the chassis to the first state, the conductor is in contact with the second area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
