A digital stereo microscope imaging system comprises two cameras and two lenses, said lenses focused in a downward direction and the optical axes thereof meeting at a single point; and a main controller that provides two sensors a single initiate control signal for outputting image data and a single pixel reference clock signal. Left eye and right eye image data respectively outputted by the two sensors are sent through a synchronizer/synthesizer for synchronization and synthesis processing so as to produce aggregated image data to be input into the main controller for compression and coding, thereby creating RGB image data. The main controller inputs the RGB image data into a three-dimensional display converter, thereby producing image data having a display format that can be recognized by a three-dimensional display screen. With the present imaging system, the observation of objects does not require the use of optical lenses. Rather, by means of the synthesis of the synchronizer/synthesizer and the conversion of the three-dimensional display converter, the three-dimensional display screen allows the naked eye to view objects three-dimensionally. |
