<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a coupling body (5) engaged with an idler (6) by a synchronization gearing (7) and axially fixed against the idler by a holding unit. The holding unit is formed as a clamp element (8) that is arranged over circumference in a distributed manner. The clamp element is supported at a tooth of the gearing of the coupling body and the idler along axial direction. The tooth of the gearing of the coupling body is formed as a carrier for the clamp element, where the carrier is formed as a bar with side surfaces, which are arranged parallel together. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Synchronizing device for a motor vehicle transmission. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The tooth of the synchronization gearing of the coupling body is formed as the carrier for the clamp element, so that the tooth is adapted to geometry of the clamp element, thus retrofitting component pairs with minimum complexity for axial fixing of the components of the synchronizing device.
