<p>The technical solution relates to information storage devices and information security, and specifically to portable USB devices with the following functions: password input, data locking and unlocking, and emergency data destruction. The portable information storage device with a data protection function consists of a casing and, arranged immovably therein, a backup power supply source and a printed circuit board with electric components arranged thereon, said electric components being connected into an electrical circuit and including a memory module comprising a non-volatile memory card which interacts with a microcontroller capable of encoding and decoding data stored in the non-volatile memory, a clock generator of the microcontroller, a step-up and a step-down voltage converter, PIN code input means, user feedback means, and a USB connector, wherein the clock generator of the microcontroller, the step-down voltage converter for electrical connection to a computer and the step-up voltage converter, via which the microcontroller is connected to the backup power supply, are arranged on the printed circuit board and are connected to the microcontroller. The technical result consists in increasing the reliability and service life of the device by virtue of immovably fixing the component parts of said device in the casing and ensuring optimum operating conditions for the microcontroller.</p> |
