APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING VIBRATION DISPLACEMENT OF ROTATING SHAFT

PURPOSE: A rotary shaft vibration displacement measuring device and a method thereof are provided to calculate vibration displacement of a rotary shaft without using an expensive displacement sensor and to accurately measure a rotating speed of the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft vibration displacement measuring device comprises an acceleration sensor(100), a rotating speed sensor(200), and a calculation unit(300). The acceleration sensor measures vibration acceleration in a diametric direction of a rotary shaft when a rotor with the rotary shaft is rotated. The rotating speed sensor measures time required for the one rotation of the rotary shaft. The calculation unit respectively calculates vibration acceleration signals, vibration speed signals, and vibration displacement signals of the rotary shaft based on data measured by the acceleration sensor and rotating speed sensor. The calculation unit calculates corrected vibration acceleration signals by subtracting an average value of the vibration acceleration signals from each value of the vibration acceleration signals after obtaining the average value of the vibration acceleration signals and calculates the vibration speed signals by integrating the corrected vibration acceleration signals. The calculation unit calculates the corrected vibration speed signals by subtracting an average value of the vibration speed signals from each value of the vibration speed signals after obtaining the average value of the vibration speed signals and calculates vibration displacement signals by integrating the corrected vibration speed signals.
