摘要 FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radar stations when tracking target paths in gates. Signals are collected from the tracked target in a tracking gate using a radial velocity feature. Probing signals consisting of at least three pulses are emitted in directions of the tracking gate. Pulses received in each i-th gate element are processed in a moving target selection (MTS) system (output signal A) and a non-coherent storage (output signal A); the ratio of output signals is determined:which is compared with a threshold value K, set based on the smoothed radial velocity of the tracked target V, measurement error thereof ?and the amplitude-velocity characteristic of the MTS system used. Signals for which the condition K>Kis satisfied are considered to be signals reflected from the tracked target. The rest of the signals are considered to be signals not associated with the tracked target and passive jamming.EFFECT: fewer false paths owing to more reliable collection of signals from a tracked target in a tracking gate.3 cl, 5 dwg
