SORTING INK APPLICATION UNIT AND PRINTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily limit an ink application amount even immediately after the filling of sorting ink when a sorting ink application unit for applying coloring to the side surface of a medium to be printed is used in a printer.

SOLUTION: A certain amount of ink can be applied irrespective of the remaining amount of ink filled in an ink roller 98 by pushing a rubber stamp 97 once to the ink roller 98 in which ink is filled and then displacing the ink roller 98 and pushing the rubber stamp 97 to the side surface of paper 1. Consequently, the paper 1 is prevented from being soiled with ink applied to the side surface of the paper 1 more than necessary.
