<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that relates to a thermoelectric element and a manufacturing method of the thermoelectric element and realize a thermoelectric element having a large ZT and using nanowires without using a trench structure. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoelectric element is composed of a substrate, nanowires oriented in a direction perpendicular to the substrate; and fine particle films, each of which is formed by fine particles, adhered to at least a surface of the nanowire and made of a thermoelectric material, with the nanowire serving as a base body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
