<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger achieving appropriate mutual joining of stainless-steel members containing titanium without causing brazing failure. <P>SOLUTION: This heat exchanger HE having the first and second stainless-steel members 1, 20 which contain titanium and which are joined to each other by brazing includes a stainless-steel auxiliary member 4 which contains no titanium or has a lower titanium content rate than the first and second members 1, 20.
