<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation system that detects short-circuit to protect a circuit in a large photovoltaic power generation system such as a mega solar system. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation system 1 has a single-stage or multi-stage connection box 7 for electrically connecting plural solar battery strings 6 in parallel, a power conditioner 11 which is electrically connected to the connection box 7 and interconnects the solar battery string 6 to a power system, a breaker 16 that can cut off the parallel circuit in the connection box 7, and a control device 17 for measuring the magnitude of current and the magnitude of the voltage between connection boxes 7 at adjacent stages or between the connection box 7 and the power conditioner 11 and cutting off the parallel circuit through the breaker 16 when the state that the measurement result is larger than a predetermined current value and smaller than a predetermined voltage value is continued for a predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
