<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal that can easily manage positioning of a mounting piece for stopping resin, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A connection terminal 1 comprises a terminal connection part 2 connected to a mating terminal, an electric wire connection part 10 connected to an electric wire W, and a neck part 20 coupling the terminal connection part 2 with the electric wire connection part 10, and a connection portion of the electric wire connection part 10 and the electric wire W is coated with a resin coating part 30. The neck part 20 has a bottom wall 21, and a pair of side walls 2 standing from the bottom wall 21.
