<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-grade roller by suppressing drying irregularity of a coated film formed on the peripheral surface of an elastic layer. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the roller having the elastic layer on the peripheral surface of a shaft core body and having the coated film on the peripheral surface of the elastic layer includes: (1) a process wherein a coating ring head having an opening over the whole periphery of the inner circumference is disposed concentrically with the shaft core body formed with the elastic layer on the peripheral surface thereof, and wherein a coating liquid is discharged from the opening while moving the head in the shaft core body axial direction to coat the coating liquid on the peripheral surface of the elastic layer; and (2) a process of drying the coated coating liquid to form the coated film. The process (2) includes a process of blowing a gas against the surface of the coated coating liquid from gas blow rings while moving the gas blow rings disposed coaxially with the shaft core body together with the head in the shaft core body axial direction. The rings have: an annular intake port capable of sucking the gas according to the movement of the rings in the shaft core body axial direction; and an annular duct leading the gas taken in from the annular intake port to the surface of the coated coating liquid while energizing the gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
