<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electropolishing solution that improves corrosion resistance of stainless steel. <P>SOLUTION: Electropolishing treatment is performed on a stainless steel by using an electropolishing solution obtained by adding a silicate to a solution in which one or a plurality of materials selected from at least one inorganic acid, at least one organic acid, at least one inorganic acid salt, and at least one organic acid salt are dissolved. The corrosion resistance of a passivation film of stainless steel is significantly improved by the treatment. Also, oxide scale and grease stain can be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
