CONTENT LIST AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTION DEVICE, AND TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform content distribution only by corresponding to DMS without changing configuration of an existing DMP of a user interface corresponding to a BD/DVD player.

SOLUTION: The content list and content distribution device includes a content list generating means which generates a list of contents present in an optical disc and a recording medium other than the optical disc in a case where the optical disc is loaded in an optical disc drive device, but generates a list of contents present in the recording medium other than the optical disc in a case where no optical disc is loaded in the optical disc drive device, a key generating means which searches an interested content from in the optical disc loaded in the optical disc drive device and the recording medium other than the optical disc, in response to a content distribution request which is transmitted from a content receiver, and an encryption means which encrypts a content by using the key information generated by the key generating means.
